In response to, and including an excerpt of the short story "The Shunned House" by H.P. Lovecraft, I created a photo book in which I documented empty or disused urban spaces in Rochester, New York

This book was bound with an accordion fold such that the pages can be flipped or stretched out in a very long spread (about 14.5 ft long including inside cover pages). Both the cover of the book and the binding method are symbolic of the physical environment documented. Text was handwritten on pages after printing.
